Handworks must-have list for a great Christmas

A vintage French cotton with a superb galleon print has been used to create this full skirt by Handworked. It has an elasticated waistband and is faced and lined with a natural, Irish linen. There are two side pockets. This is a limited edition garment owing to the use of vintage fabric.

Designed in Japan and made in India, these brass necklaces by Fog Linen Work are a really simple way to brighten an outfit. Made from small brass beads, they slip easily over the head and look stunning when worn together or separately. The long necklace can also be worn doubled or tied in a knot or ‘bow’. They make for a lovely present, packaged in a Fog Linen Work branded drawstring bag, all ready for gifting.

The most beautiful blouse by Maku. The Cecelia blouse is neat across the shoulders and full on the body. It features a lovely structured collar and finely gathered embroidered panels to the front and back. The embroidery thread is dyed with natural indigo in a design reminiscent of clouds with a soaring bird. There are brass buttons down the entirety of the front. The sleeves are nicely billowy, which gather in to neat cuffs. The cuffs are finished with the same brass buttons as the front.

A delightful addition to a garment, these brooches by Sophie Digard feature very finely worked stylised flowers in delicate shades.

A lovely full skirt made from panels of 100% Eri silk and dyed with natural madder by We Are KAL. With a feel and aesthetic similar to linen, Eri silk is a durable and strong fibre with good thermal properties, meaning it is warm in winter and cool in summer.

A delightful natural indigo scarf by Maku, featuring a pattern created by fine Bandhani - a form of tie-dye.

The handwoven cotton and wool mix fabric feels beautiful on, with the wool making the scarf feel warm to the touch, without adding bulk.

A warm, quilted 100% cotton cardigan jacket by Handworked in a lovely slate grey. It features a hand block printed cotton lining and three vintage shell buttons, with a single contrasting button loop. The pockets are lined in the same block print fabric as the lining.

Soft, delicate colours feature on this beautifully textural basket bag by designer Sophie Digard. A neat size with room to hold the essentials. The handles feel lovely in the hand and the bag stands up well on its own thanks to the flat base. There is a small internal pocket and the bag closes with two tie fasteners.

A lovely and versatile cardigan jacket by Tamay & Me. The cut of this jacket is a shortened version of the traditional Mien women's jacket. Made with Tamay’s signature handspun, handwoven cotton from north Vietnam, naturally dyed in fermented indigo fourteen times to create a rich blue. The tie-resist pattern is made by wrapping cotton around paper balls for a dot effect.

A wonderfully full dress by Maku. It features a lovely structured collar and gathers to the front and back. The handwoven Jamdani fabric features three bands of grey, black and natural indigo dye which has a slight purple tone. There are natural indigo pinstripes running horizontally across the grey and black bands, with grey motifs across the bottom section. There are fabric-covered buttons to the front. The sleeves are full and billowy, which gather in to neat cuffs. The cuffs are finished with the same fabric-covered buttons as the front. The selvedge of the fabric is utilised for the hem and there are side slits.

Such a lovely little present - brass bird brooches by Fog Linen Work available in two bird designs - the soaring bird or the fluttering bird. Designed in Japan and made in India, the brooches come packaged in a Fog Linen Work branded drawstring bag, ready for gifting.

A beautiful necklace by Sophie Digard featuring fabric bobbles with stitched details. The colours in this necklace are delicate and gentle incorporating beige, rust and ochre tones.

An intricately crocheted and stitched scarf by Sophie Digard, featuring fine squares of crochet with a circular pattern to one side and plain crocheted squares to the reverse. The circles range in colour from delicate neutrals to vibrant oranges and rust tones.

Truly special handmade journals by Moneeza Khan of Lotus Blu Book Art, a bookbinder and artist from Yorkshire.

Each journal is hand-bound and covered with linen featuring reproduction prints of Moneeza’s gouache paintings.

The journals are rustic in appearance, with Moneeza’s intention being to evoke a feeling of nostalgia - the older these journals become, the better they will look.

Beautifully fragranced soy wax candles in a glass vessel, by Priddy Essentials. Packaged in a lovely cardboard tube making them an ideal gift. There are three delightful fragrances to choose from:

Criollo leaf - dry notes of tobacco flower and nutmeg with warm, sweet mandarin

Bergamot - refreshing citrus with green florals
