Kim Klassen - Gift Guide

For the person who LOVES Photography

Kim Klassen is FAIRE family, and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to publish her creative journey in our debut issue of FAIRE earlier this year.

Kim is a photographer, blogger, and graphic artist, and she runs an online artist community and a creative program called The Inner Circle from her studio in downtown Rivers, Manitoba. Through it, she offers online courses for aspiring photographers, designers, and stylists, plus one-on-one mentoring and creative business coaching.

The other thing to know about Kim is that she is a self-declared gear geek and so there is no better person to make an ultimate holiday gift list for fellow photography lovers.

The Bowery camera bag by Ona

Meet my dream camera bags.

Isn't she gorgeous? The Ona Bags are by far the loveliest I've seen. If I could, I'd take one of each. Just beautiful. I have the Bowery in Antique Cognac Leather. it's perfect for my mirrorless and a lens. Just the right size for taking along wherever I go.

The Bowery, $299.00

Neewer c-stand with wheels

I could not live w/o my c-stand. it's a must for overhead photos and films. And the wheels make it even easier to scoot around the studio.

Be warned it's BIG but it can be folded up and tucked away.

Neewer Pro 100% Stainless Steel C Stand Light Stand with Casters, $276.99

Nikon zfc this classic style camera is brilliant for so many reasons.

1. Just look at it!! I mean seriously! How lovely is she?

2. It's packed full of features for both photo and video. in fact, it has all the video features of the much more expensive Nikon z6 ii and z7 ii.

3. It's perfect for travel. light and lovely.

4. The flip-out screen is amazing.

5. I love this camera and so do many of my students and clients.

999,00 €

Peak Designs Tripod.

This tripod is a dream.

So light and uncomplicated. It's now the only one I need!

Peak Design Travel Tripod (5 Section Aluminum Camera Tripod) $313

Peak Design Camera Straps

I love the peak design camera straps. And the quick-release makes them a dream to pop on and off your camera.

$35-$58

Three Legged Thing L-Bracket

Not the most exciting thing but now that I have one, I can't imagine not. L-brackets make switching your camera from landscape to portrait so quick and convenient. It's brilliant. Just love.

From €86.24

For editing. Lightroom Classic always. And the latest masking features make it even more amazing.

HP Tango printer with HP instant-ink subscription.

Hundreds of my community have purchased this amazing (and pretty printer). We love it! And with the instant ink subscription plans you can print and print and print some more for a very low price.

Red River paper pairs perfectly with the Tango printer. I especially love their matte papers. Highly recommend.

I use Milanote to organize all the ideas, inspiration, work and personal projects into one beautiful space. It's like a giant digital whiteboard for creatives. And so much more! If you haven't checked it out, you really must. I loved it so much I made a class on it. : )

Milanote Class $39 USD

This year I decided I must start framing more of my photos and finally found the perfect frame company. Opposite Wall makes the loveliest minimalist frames that are a dream to work with. highly recommend.
