Meta Coleman holiday gift guide

Meta is a beloved interior designer in the U.S - who very much believes in utilising every square inch of a home to fit the needs of homeowners, transforming it into a place that everyone in the house is drawn to and feels comfortable in. For Meta, this means making a home feel personal and collected, reflecting the interests, hobbies, and histories of those that live there. Meta is passionate about her work and finds joy in sharing her enthusiasm and love for design.

Here is a list of Meta’s gift ideas for this Christmas Season

La Double J and The Socialite family collaboration lamp

I love this retro-looking print mixed with the more modern, high-gloss lamp base.

Francesca Kaye

Tile chopping board

Everything of hers sells out so quickly- but she posts in large batches and I love her ceramics. I especially love all her blue and white pieces. They are so free and have a simplified approach to flowers and faces.

Ginny Sim ceramics

Beautiful colour combinations and handmade pottery.

‘After Titian, One, Left Side’

I Love me some nudes.

Hahaha! I love the pencil drawing with the water colour. It's so beautiful. And the colours!

Loom Supply

Prairie Coverlet

A nice woven blanket for your bed or sofa. In one of my favourite colour combos, red and green.

Pigeon Palace

Pigeon puzzle

Puzzles are the most fun to put together during the holidays. And why not have it be art?

Gavin Houghton

Something fishy plate

His ceramic plates are some of my favourites, with a great sense of humour. This plate would be so great in a kitchen.

Ceramic Sumo Wrestlers by ohayo

Any of these sumo wrestlers

Who doesn’t need a sumo wrestler in their life? And a good laugh? When you’re feeling a bit bloated after the holidays.

A treasured children’s book

Andreas Walter Waldi - Ein Lustiges Dackelbuch

This is my most favourite Christmas book from my childhood, and I don’t think you have to speak German to understand the story. The illustrations are so good. Who doesn’t love a story about a naughty dachshund dressed in lederhosen?

Caroline Roux Beauzon

I love her work and just recently discovered her on my trip to Provence. Honestly, it’s hard for me to say exactly why I love certain artists. I think they have to speak to you and her work speaks to me.

Helle Thygesen and Amalie Bonnelycke Lunoe

Ceramic candle sticks.

An exclusive collaboration with Helle Thygesen and Amalie Bonnelycke Lunoe. Helle has an incredible eye and curates the most beautiful new and vintage homewares. Only available to purchase via DM on Instagram.

AnellaBees

Beeswax candles:

Turn any milestone or event into a memorable occasion with our 100% pure 12-inch 7/8  beeswax tapers. Each hand-dipped set is reusable and produced by artisans here in the U.S.A. Crafted to burn drip-free, so you can enjoy those special moments throughout the year because, at Anellabees, we believe there is always something worth celebrating!

Matilda Goad Matches:

Elevate your matchbox with this embossed brass sleeve.

Vintage Bamboo set at Vintage Works

I love to buy vintage. I am always on the lookout for vintage sellers. I love Heidi’s curation. This is such a beautiful natural and sustainable table setting. The wood also looks so good in red. Another one of my favourite colour combinations.

Lucas du Tertre

Napkins:

I would love to mix these colourful napkins with my blue and white Spode and some of my more traditional tablecloths. Also, we have a trick, which is maybe gross to some, but we love to use cloth napkins. Everyone has their own napkin ring to remember which napkin is theirs. We end up using our napkins for several meals. That way you don’t have to do so much washing, but you aren’t throwing away napkins either. Win-win.
