“What we love about it Faire has a knack for finding makers of all kinds, showing the almost infinite number of ways you can be creative. What’s more, every story in Faire is commissioned especially for the issue. 

The photography is just as well thought out as the artists featured and some of the images you could get lost in for hours, showcasing their work as well as the gloriously messy, chaotic

studios it’s created in. While each feature follows a similar structure, there’s a rich and varied breadth of skills and experiences across the mag and it doesn’t matter if it’s not a creative pursuit your familiar with. 

We found ourselves wondering how we could find our own pipe-smoking Bristolian to teach us how to mold copper. Passion for their materials be it leather, organza, or even light and shade just oozes from each maker. The stories are told by the makers themselves and we love hearing how they came to their particular passion…. A wonderful voyage through the creative lives of others.”
