Inspirational, beautiful, good for the soul!
Beautifully, thoughtfully written, photographed, edited and produced by the exceptionally generous and talented Ruth. Wonderfully inspiring human stories of creativity and passion for art and craft. A total joy of a read cover to cover.

“What we love about it Faire has a knack for finding makers of all kinds, showing the almost infinite number of ways you can be creative. What’s more, every story in Faire is commissioned especially for the issue.
The photography is just as well thought out as the artists featured and some of the images you could get lost in for hours, showcasing their work as well as the gloriously messy, chaotic studios it’s created in. While each feature follows a similar structure, there’s a rich and varied breadth of skills and experiences across the mag and it doesn’t matter if it’s not a creative pursuit your familiar with.
We found ourselves wondering how we could find our own pipe-smoking Bristolian to teach us how to mold copper. Passion for their materials be it leather, organza, or even light and shade just oozes from each maker. The stories are told by the makers themselves and we love hearing how they came to their particular passion…. A wonderful voyage through the creative lives of others.”

I have been the kind of person who has gone to the magazine stand and wished there was a magazine like Faire. I needed to find heart and soul of living artistic presence with light, shadow and magical focal interest wherein I felt transported. Faire completely satisfies all the criteria for illuminating an incredible entourage of individuals who are immersed in their art and craft. The magazine goes beyond thoughtfulness and beauty into simple pure love of.
Thank you for working so hard to make it all happen! It’s beautiful.

How absolutely delightful - and I am well set up on the settee as I start dipping into this - honest, beautiful, reflective piece of art in itself as a publication. I would like to say I have a mug of tea or coffee with me, but actually it's a glass of wine to celebrate finally completing the one last remaining piece of the so-difficult work which frankly is no longer where I'm at.
So I've started with the Editor's letter and moved on to 'Stories of Salt and Starlight".......connecting already at a deep level with all of this.
“My customers really do love and appreciate it. I think what you have created really resonates with people on multiple creative levels. They can relate to and embrace what lies between the pages. It’s really quite magical. I particularly love watching them search the shop for the pile and pick one up excitedly, full of anticipation. I can’t imagine not having it there. It simply knits everything together. “
